Welcome to BookMyGym (“we”, “our”, or “BookMyGym”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BookMyGym platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

BookMyGym operates as a platform connecting users with gym facilities across the United Kingdom. We facilitate bookings and payments but do not own or operate the gym facilities themselves.

1.1 BookMyGym provides an online platform that enables users to:

• Search and discover gym facilities in their area
• View gym amenities, equipment, and facilities
• Book single-use passes or memberships
• Access fitness classes and personal training services
• Manage bookings and payments through our platform

1.2 We act as an intermediary between users and gym facilities. The actual gym services are provided by independent gym operators.

1.3 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Service at any time with reasonable notice.

1.4 Service availability may vary by location and is subject to participating gym availability.

2.1 To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2.2 When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

2.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

2.4 You may not transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

3.1 When you make a booking through BookMyGym:

• You are entering into a contract with the gym facility
• You agree to comply with the gym's rules and regulations
• You must arrive at your scheduled time
• You must check in using our app or at the gym reception

3.2 Booking confirmations will be sent via email and are available in your account dashboard.

3.3 Some bookings may require advance notice. Check specific gym requirements before booking.

3.4 Age restrictions may apply for certain facilities or services. Users under 18 may require parental consent.

3.5 You must bring valid identification to verify your booking when requested by gym staff.

4.1 All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. We do not store your complete payment card details.

4.2 Prices displayed include all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4.3 Payment methods accepted:

• Credit and debit cards
• Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
• Direct debit for memberships

4.4 For membership subscriptions:

• Payments are automatically renewed based on your chosen plan
• You can cancel or modify your subscription at any time
• Changes take effect at the next billing cycle

4.5 We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice for existing subscriptions.

5.1 Cancellation terms for single-use passes:

• Cancel up to 12 hours before: Full refund
• Cancel 4-12 hours before: 50% refund or credit
• Cancel less than 4 hours before: No refund
• No-shows: No refund and may affect future booking privileges

5.2 Class bookings may have different cancellation policies. Check specific class terms before booking.

5.3 Membership cancellations require 30 days notice and take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

5.5 We may waive cancellation fees in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

6.1 When using our Service and visiting gym facilities, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect gym equipment and facilities
• Follow gym safety guidelines and instructions from staff
• Maintain appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Treat other users and staff with respect

6.2 You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent booking or payment systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or gym staff
• Damage or misuse gym property

6.3 Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate termination of your account and ban from the platform.

7.1 BookMyGym acts as a booking platform only. We are not responsible for:

• The quality of gym facilities or services
• Personal injury or property damage at gym facilities
• Actions or omissions of gym staff or other users
• Gym facility closures or equipment unavailability

7.2 Users participate in gym activities at their own risk and should:

• Consult healthcare providers before beginning exercise programs
• Ensure they are physically capable of activities
• Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

7.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookMyGym shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7.4 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

8.1 Your use of our Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8.2 By using our Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.3 We may share necessary information with gym facilities to facilitate your bookings and ensure service delivery.

8.4 You can manage your privacy preferences through your account settings.

9.1 All content on the BookMyGym platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of BookMyGym or its licensors.

9.2 You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Create derivative works based on our Service

9.3 User-generated content remains your property, but you grant us a license to use it in connection with providing our Service.

10.1 You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.

10.2 We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• You repeatedly violate gym facility rules
• Your account remains inactive for an extended period

10.3 Upon termination:

• Outstanding payments remain due
• Future bookings may be cancelled
• Access to the Service will be revoked
• Data will be handled per our Privacy Policy

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.3 We encourage resolution of disputes through customer support before pursuing legal action.
