Book My Gym is a private, 24/7 gym in Chew Valley (just south of Bristol) where you can rent the entire space by the hour. You'll enjoy complete privacy, professional equipment, and stunning valley views.
Where is the gym located?
We're based in Dundry, just south of Bristol, UK. Directions and the exact address are provided after booking.
How is this different from a traditional gym?
Unlike a public gym, you book the entire space for yourself (or your clients/group). No waiting for equipment, no crowds — just your own private workout environment.
Who can use the gym?
We welcome personal trainers, solo individuals, and small groups of 2–4 people.
Is the gym open 24/7?
Yes, the gym is open 24/7. You'll receive a unique access code to enter at your booked time.
What makes Book My Gym unique?

Booking & Access
How do I book a session?
Bookings are made online through our website. Simply choose your time slot, pay, and you'll receive your access code and all other details instantly.
How far in advance can I book?
You can book up to 3 months in advance.
Can I book multiple sessions at once?
Yes, you can make unlimited bookings in advance.
Can I bring a guest or group with me?
Yes, small groups of 2–4 people are welcome. Each guest will need to sign up and agree to our terms before joining.
What happens if I arrive early or stay late?
Access codes only work during your booked slot. You won't be able to enter early, and the system will lock after your time ends.
Pricing & Packages
How much does it cost to book a session?
- Peak hours (6–9am, 5–8pm Weekdays): £15/hour
- Off-peak hours: £12/hour
Do prices differ for individuals, groups, and personal trainers?
The base hourly rate is the same for all. We do offer discounted packages and memberships. Email contact@bookmygym.co.uk if you want more info on our group booking or want to reserve regular slots.
Are there bulk booking or membership options?

Payments
Is payment taken at the time of booking?
Yes, payment is required at the time of booking. All payments are handled via Stripe which accepts credit/debit cards as well as Apple Pay.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are processed automatically if you cancel within the allowed timeframe (see cancellation policy below).
Cancellations & Refunds
What is the cancellation policy?
- 24+ hours before your session: Full refund
- Less than 24 hours: £7 cancellation fee, remainder refunded
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Log into your account and manage your booking from your dashboard.

What equipment is available?
We provide:

Is the equipment suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes — from beginners to professionals. We can provide inductions. Just email contact@bookmygym.co.uk and we can arrange someone to meet you on your first session to show you the gym and how to use the equipment properly.
Can I bring my own equipment?
No, external equipment is not permitted inside the gym.
Is the space suitable for small group training?
Yes, up to 4 people can train together.
Are there showers or changing rooms on site?
No, there are no changing facilities. However, toilet facilities are available.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available inside the gym.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is directly outside the gym and always available.
Safety & Security
Is the gym safe to use alone?
Yes. The space is secure, and you'll have full privacy.
What happens in case of an emergency?
In an emergency, please call 07493 150055. This number should only be used in emergency situations.
Is CCTV in operation?
Yes, CCTV is in place both inside and outside the gym. Please note: it is not actively monitored.
How is my data protected?
Your data is protected under UK data protection laws. Payments and access codes are securely managed.
Personal Trainers
How can personal trainers benefit from using Book My Gym?
You'll have private access to train clients without distractions. It is totally flexible to the amount of the commitment level you need, allowing you to grow your business and clientele at your pace.
Can PTs bring their own clients?
Yes — clients must register and agree to terms.
Do PTs need insurance?
Yes. All personal trainers are required to hold valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance when training clients at Book My Gym. Proof of insurance may be requested.
Can PTs list their services on your website?
We plan to offer a 'Find a Pro' page showcasing active PTs.
Accounts & Profiles
Do I need an account to book?
Yes, an account is required to manage bookings and access codes.
How do I create an account?
You'll be prompted to create one during your first booking.
Access Codes
How do access codes work?
Each booking generates a unique code valid only for your session, which you will receive immediately after booking, by email.
Can I share my access code with others?
No — codes are personal. Guests must be registered to join.
What if my code doesn't work?

Communication
Will I receive a booking confirmation?
Yes, sent by email instantly.
Will I be notified when my session is ending?
Yes, you'll receive an SMS 10 minutes before your session ends.
Promotions & Referrals
Can I purchase a gift card?
Yes, gift cards will be available. Email contact@bookmygym.co.uk with the amount you would like to purchase.

Who do I contact for help?

Other
Can under-18s use the gym?
For safety and insurance reasons, the gym is only available to users aged 18 and over.
Can I host a fitness class or event?
The space is designed for personal training and small groups (up to 4 people). At this stage, we don't accommodate large group classes or events. If you're interested in private workshops or specialist sessions, please contact us to discuss.
Do you plan to open more locations?
We're focused on Chew Valley for now, but may expand in the future.
